Wanna get your hands dirty?

Join KINCA and The River Stewardship Company bash buddleia and bulrushes to clear out the goit at Kelham Island on the 16th February from 10am to 2pm!

This is a hotspot for kingfishers, moorhen, and multiple fish species, but gets easily choked with greenery. As beautiful as these plants are, they can stop the water flow and need maintaining each year. They'll be taking boats and canoes, and they're looking for volunteers to don waders and get stuck in!

If you're up for the challenge and can spare a few hours then they'd love your help!
